The Next Step In the Patriotic Resistance
 Since shortly after the 2008 election, Grassfire established a three-phased strategy for restoring constitutional conservative values: Resist, Rebuild, Restore. The resistance movement -- exemplified
by the hundreds of tea parties, Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project, Grassfire's own ResistNet.com social network and other efforts -- has brought together a broad coalition of grassroots Americans around the common theme of political resistance to the current statist regime. Resistance has a long and dignified history in America’s political history. Resistance is the vitally important first phase, but it is just the beginning. We must rebuild around core, constitutional ideals and then restore those ideals to political authority. In our political system, the next opportunity to restore political authority to liberty-based, constitutional ideals comes in November 2010.

Principles and a Platform for House Flipping
The core values for Flip This House 2010 are simply this: Liberty and Limited Government. The reality of the Obama-led Big Government push is that the main threat to our freedoms is now the Ascendency of the State. As it has been said, “the all-consuming state consumes all freedoms.” Socialism -- or what Mark Levin has called “statism” -- is the enemy of liberty. And the anecdote is a return to the Constitutional principles of Limited Government.

In the coming weeks and months, we propose that House Flippers of every stripe unite around clearly stated FLIP Principles and a foundational FLIP Platform that can help us identify political candidates who are serious about challenging Big Government Statism. It's time to end the oppressive taxation system which is the primary tool of power and control for Big Government. It's time to stop the government's intrusion into the free markets.
